Teaching

As well as teaching peripatetically in several schools over the last 20 years I also have a thriving private teaching practice with students of all ages and ranging from beginners to diploma level and beyond. It is a passion of mine to help people find a good, healthy vocal technique as well as discovering their own art of singing and expression and lots of my student relationships last for many years. 

I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams with consistently excellent results and also for music competitions, festivals and auditions. Many of my students have gone on to study voice in conservatoires and theatre schools or to be choral scholars at Oxbridge colleges and elsewhere. 

More recently I have been thrilled to be a vocal coach on some of the residential courses for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
